Medical Care
Residents select the attending physician of their choice. This physician is responsible for prescribing all aspects of the resident’s medical care. In addition, the Medical Director of the facility oversees its medical and nursing programs, ensuring quality care and performance at every level. Physicians are selected by the residents themselves, to ensure their comfort and confidence. These experts will be in charge of your recovery and therapy programs under the guidance of the resident Medical Director, making true to our promise of quality care, unsurpassed dedication, and commitment to a faster recovery.

Family and Social Services
The staff here at Maywood Acres see themselves as an extension of a resident’s family, which means that attention should also be given to their actual families. Programs are designed to include and also focus on families, helping them understand the support needed by their loved one, and how best to overcome caregiving challenges. Participation is encouraged in regular individual Resident Care Plan conferences.

Meals
At Maywood Acres, we understand the joy that a sumptuous meal brings to a resident, which is why we make it a point to make every meal special. But the meal is only half the ambience; delicious, nutritious meals are served in a spacious, homey dining room as well as in private rooms.

Activities
Programs make up the centerpiece of a day in Maywood Acres. We encourage residents to take an active role in activities that are tailor-fitted to each one’s needs and interests. The Resident Council is one of the programs whose participation is greatly encouraged. This is where residents can share their recommendations and concerns to the administration. Discussions will center on the facility’s programs and services.
